Follows simple commands such as, “roll the ball” or “kiss the baby”
Can point to pictures in a book when named
Listens to simple stories, songs, and rhymes
Can recognize own name
Can answer yes/no questions with a headshake or nod
Expressive Language
Says more words each month
Uses some one or two word questions such as, “where?” or “go bye-bye?”
Can say 2-3 words other than “mama” and “dada”
Imitates familiar words
Starts to name and/or label pictures in a book
